Manny Randazzo is a second-generation baker renowned for making award-winning king cakes. Baked from a secret family recipe developed over 60 years ago, Manny Randazzo king cakes have become an integral part of the Mardi Gras tradition celebrated each year.

Problem Statement
Placing large orders over the phone and through email was not only inefficient, but it presented multiple opportunities for errors when accepting, and processing orders. Long lines frustrated local customers while out of state customers had no way of enjoying the award winning king cakes each year. With a limited number of cakes available each day and demand increasing it became very challenging to keep track of capacity for each day.

Solution
Our team worked directly with the bakery and it's staff to help identify different user personas and prioritized features to fit their specific needs. With no ready-made e-commerce platform capable of meeting all the business requirements we determined that a custom solution would be needed. The design and development of a custom e-commerce website expanded the bakeries reach and enabled Randazzo's to deliver a user-friendly experience. A bulk order processing platform was designed to serve the bakeries corporate clients and led to an increase in efficiency and accuracy with online orders. To help personalize the online ordering experience, we designed a customizable e-card tool that allows users to send a personalized email greeting with each online order.
